The 1557 London Euston to Glasgow service will now travel in reverse gear and up the timetable instead of down, arriving at Glasgow Central five hours before it departs from London Euston. Passengers boarding at Euston will be shown a backwards movie of the journey to satisfy their wanderlust which will be followed by a lecture in Train Semiotics. The service will be renamed the 1557 Glasgow to London Euston and some disappointment is inevitable.
