Government officials and ministers, taken aback by outright hostility to the plans for Id cards, have announced the introduction of EgoCards some time next spring.
Dr C Jung, the Minister for the Collective Unconscious, attempted to reassure crowds trying to brainstorm his house, by explaining how the Id and the Ego were completely different concepts and anyone who thought otherwise was merely accepting the consensual hallucination that the individual is a construct of the mind.
Government plans to introduce a "platinum" version of the card, the SuperEgo, which features a reward and punishment points system, will now be put on hold pending the introduction of psychoanalytic technology.
Browse through the ID Card Application forms below. If you have any questions, please write to the Department of Social Scrutiny, Interrogation Room 487, Golden Cross House, 456-458 Strand, London, WC2R 0DZ, giving your name, address, and a list of potentially subversive individuals you know.
